I have raised rabbits for 10 years and then just only got back into them when Ethan and I got a crazy Holland Lop and a pair of Rhinelanders. I raised Tans, and running rabbits have always been my particular favorites. We are so excited to be raising such beautiful rabbits. I will always say that running rabbits are the best, and in my opinion they don't get enough credit. With proper handling and care they are really fun rabbits to raise. The only drawback is the size of the housing they need, our cages are 4 feet wide, enough for a fully grown Rhinelander to get plenty of excercise. We have our first litter of Rhinelanders due in February, and are so excited! In my opinion, there is no rabbit more beautiful than a full arch breed. If I had my way (and had the money) we would have a temperature controlled rabbitry, running tables, automatic everything and about a hundred Rhinelanders to play with. I am so blessed to have a boyfriend who wants to raise rabbits with me an indulge my rabbit habit LOL.
