More Bad Luck

Halsey's Peek A Boo our Rhinelander doe lost her entire litter, they didn't even live a whole day. This has been her second litter where bad luck has struck, last time only one kit survived. This is pretty upsetting considering that Peek A Boo is such a gorgeous doe and we were hoping she would pass some of her good looks onto her kits. We are going to try to breed her again and see how that goes. The heat has been pretty bad here in Michigan, but luckily we don't have an A/C so the rabbits are doing perfectly fine with the higher temperatures. They do have a fan and frozen water bottles to keep them cool but we haven't lost any rabbits (and they're all in good condition!) despite this heat wave. On a good note we will be showing our first homegrown Rhinelander in Coldwater, MI on July 14th. :) Hop
