New Beginnings

Ethan and I have had Rhinelanders for nearly a year now but we have just now joined ARBA. It's official we are rabbitry registered #D1749. It feels good to make it official :) We showed our first homegrown Rhinelander at Coldwater CM'S Nitro and the judge said he had very promising type and good markings--always good when you're relatively new to a breed. The Rhinelanders are our pride and joy of the rabbitry but at Coldwater we bought a Lilac junior buck (the breed, not the color) and are looking for a doe for him. He is the sweetest boy ever, he sure loves attention. We also got a Californian senior doe to breed for meat rabbits but we will not have any for sale until at least this fall if not later. The Californian doe is supposedly a good mother but we'll see when she kindles. This could be a good opportunity to foster our Rhinelanders to her since so far our Rhinelander doe has not had m
